Advanced GUIDO Specifications

Guido is a formal language for score level music representation. It is a plain-text format and can represent virtually all the information contained in a musical score. The main home page for GUIDO is www.salieri.org/GUIDO which includes links to the GUIDO NoteServer, documentation on the Basic Guido specification, and code for GUIDO implementations

The Advanced GUIDO specification is still being developed, but its current state is included here for reference. Please note that modifications to the specification are ongoing.
